Look Ahead
Have you confessed Jesus as Lord and taken the step of baptism? Are you trying to follow him without fully saying yes?
Notes
The definition of a “covenant” is a “formal, solemn, and binding agreement” that is typically accompanied by an outward expression of commitment. God made various covenants throughout the Bible, and Jesus specifically refers to His blood being shed as an outward expression of His promise of forgiveness and salvation. Followers of Jesus are called to respond with their own outward expression of commitment through confession and baptism.
