In the Community

We believe community shouldn’t stop at our Gatherings, but instead, should be weaved into the day-to-day.

Beach Nights

Beach Nights are better together! Beach Nights are scattered throughout the semester in addition to our monthly gatherings. Join us at the beach for good hangs, beach games, sunsets, and community. We’ll have volleyball, frisbee, bonfires, and plenty of time to just chill and connect with others.

Events

From worship nights to volunteer outings, SYA events are intentionally designed to create meaningful experiences and lasting connection.

When does Salty Young Adults gather?

We meet regularly throughout the year. Our Gatherings happen on the first Tuesday of each month February-May and September-December from 6:30-8:00pm in The Boardroom. We also get together for SYA Beach Nights twice a month throughout the semester. Both. Salty Young Adults is for all young adults, no matter your relationship status.

What happens at an SYA gathering?

Our gatherings are designed to help you connect and grow. You can expect a mix of hanging out, meeting new people, a short teaching, and time for conversation in smaller groups.

What’s the difference between a Gathering and a Beach Night?

A Gathering is a larger, more structured night with a message and breakout groups indoors. A Beach Night is more casual — think beach volleyball, frisbee, bonfires, chilling out on the beach, and building community together.

Are there small groups?

Yes! We offer Groups for young adults throughout the year. They’re the best way to build real friendships and grow in your faith in a smaller setting. Explore groups at salty.org/groups.

Is childcare provided?

Childcare is not typically provided at Salty Young Adults gatherings or events, but that could change in the future. Let us know if you’d be interested!

Can I attend even if I'm new or don't go to Salty?

Are there serving opportunities?
