Notes
People reacted to Jesus’ death and resurrection in many different ways. At the cross, the Roman Centurion praised, people in the crowd left in sorrow, and those who knew Him watched from a distance. At the tomb, the women were puzzled and frightened of the men who appeared to them. Later, some disciples worshiped and some doubted when Jesus appeared to them. In every situation, people were comforted and challenged to remember the words and promises of Jesus, including His amazing promise of a new life and to be with us always.
