- According to verse 3, why did Elijah go to Beersheba? What was his goal in going there and who was his guide?

- Why do you think the Lord asked Elijah the same question twice? What do you think the Lord was trying to accomplish by doing this?

Look Ahead
Be persistent in praying to give God permission to influence every emotion and every thought. Ask God to give you His Spirit so that you will have to have “ears to hear” as you search for God’s truth to direct your path.. Group Note Elijah’s experience is a great example that while God is not limited in His ability to communicate with us, His ways are not our ways. We need to be persistent in seeking guidance from God and pay attention to both the whispers and the shouts. God is there to guide us when we seek, listen and obey.
