Look Ahead
How confident are you that Jesus did a good enough job to connect you directly with God? How can you take advantage of and maximize that connection this week?
Notes
The Bible teaches that God told Moses to establish priests as the primary connection between people and God. These priests had many duties including making animal sacrifices as a payment for sin. Jesus operates as a priest but in a much different way. Jesus changed everything when He gave His life to pay for our sin once and for all. The old rules were more like temporary laws to perform - what Jesus did was better and permanent. Our sins are forgiven and we have a direct connection to God. Who needs to hear this good news of hope this Christmas?
