Notes

In these passages, we see Jesus responding to the different needs of people who boldly approached Him. They believed in Jesus’ power to heal and went to him personally and directly. Jesus had compassion and healed their physical needs, but also pointed them to a greater gift - the Holy Spirit. While there will always be some form of suffering in our lives, the presence of God’s Holy Spirit in each of us gives us direction and hope of eternity with our Father in heaven. Where are you turning for hope? Jesus tells us to come straight to God and boldly ask Him.
Overview

Contrasts "religious tourism" with a truly active faith, using the biblical story of the woman who touched Jesus’ garment to illustrate the power of expectant effort. Drawing from the command to "ask, seek, and knock," the message emphasizes that God’s presence is not confined to a distant holy site but is an accessible gift for those who pursue Him intentionally. Ultimately, you are challenged to move beyond passive belief and recognize that because the Holy Spirit dwells within you, you can personally engage with God's transformative power every day.
